ImuPro Bundle Tests

Not sure whether your symptoms are linked to the foods you eat, to how your body handles histamine, or both? ImuPro test bundles let you check for both and bring the results together in one combined food report.

Pair Complete 270 or Vegetarian+ 221 food sensitivity (IgG) testing with a histamine test, either DAO or THDC. Your report then shows which foods to reduce in a meal and which to exclude completely during the elimination phase, with personalised dietary guidance and recipe resources.

You can also add DAO or THDC to Basic 90 or Vegetarian 90, either when you order or within 4 weeks of your IgG test. In that case your IgG and histamine results arrive as separate reports. You can order online or through your practitioner.

What the Different Tests Measure

Complete 270, Vegetarian+ 221, Basic 90 and Vegetarian 90 measure IgG antibodies against the foods in each panel. An elevated result does not by itself prove a food causes symptoms. ImuPro provides a dietary protocol for using the findings including elimination and structured reintroduction which may assist in finding your personal trigger foods.

DAO enzyme activity

DAO testing measures the activity of the enzyme that helps break down histamine. If your result is within the reference range, your report is a simple measurement. If activity is low, you receive a more comprehensive report covering possible causes. A DAO result alone does not establish or rule out histamine intolerance.

THDC (Histamine Capacity Test)

THDC, also known as THAK, measures how well your blood serum sample breaks histamine down, rather than the activity of a single enzyme. The laboratory adds histamine to your sample and measures how much is broken down over a set period. DAO is only one part of histamine processing, so a normal DAO result can still occur alongside reduced overall capacity. Nutritional cofactors, other biogenic amines such as tyramine, and certain medications can all influence capacity. That is why THDC can give a clearer picture.

How Bundle Testing Works

1. Choose your test

Order online or through your practitioner. Pick Complete 270 or Vegetarian+ 221 with DAO or THDC for a combined food report. Or choose Basic 90 or Vegetarian 90 and add histamine testing for separate reports.

2. Add any extras

With Complete 270, you can add Vitamin D, NeuroSpot+, or both. Check your total before checkout.

3. Have your blood collected

Have a standard blood draw at a local pathology collection centre.
The pathology service charges its own collection fee, which varies by provider. If you added NeuroSpot+, complete the home urine and saliva kit as well.

4. Send your sample

Your blood is processed to obtain serum, which is sent to our specialised laboratory in Germany.

5. Receive your results by email

Important information

ImuPro histamine tests assess DAO activity or histamine-degrading capacity in a blood sample.
They do not diagnose immediate IgE-mediated food allergy and should never be used to decide whether it is safe to eat a food that has previously caused an allergic reaction.

Symptoms such as headaches, flushing, itching, dizziness, palpitations and digestive problems can have many causes. Testing is not a substitute for appropriate medical investigation of persistent, significant or unexplained symptoms.

Take the first step to feeling better

Explore the histamine tests or speak with our team if you are unsure whether DAO testing or the broader Histamine Capacity Test is right for you. We can help you understand the differences and which option may be more appropriate for what you are trying to investigate.
